15 Minute Red White and Blue Decoration
Monday, March 20, 2017
Hands can express so many emotions and feelings. This gift has been one of my favorite to make since the vision of a family holding hands brings me a warm cozy vibe. This tutorial of a Mother's Day hand made gift will provide you with the basic tools and ideas. This project came out so cool in less than 15 minutes excluding drying time. A young child would need help but a older children could handle this art/gift on their own.

I am taking a charming classic Valentine to a new level today by simply switching the materials. I remember making these hearts as a kid in school. I made a trip tp the local craft store with a blank slate in my mind. After wandering the aisles for quite some time found Christmas wired ribbon at a Seventyfive percent off sale. Then the cardstock paper was Fifty percent off too. I bought the both and set out my supplies to make the classic valentine into a new updated version of the woven hearts.

My mom was my Girl Scout Leader along with some other wonderful people. Were you a Brownie, Indian Guide or Princess, a Tiger Cub or an Eagle Scout? I worked my way up to a Senior Cadet in Girl Scouts. My sash, beret, and book are part of my treasures along with the countless memories.
Scouts of any kind seem to blend with nature.
As you are scouting out fun during a meeting or on a trip here is a map to treasure. Search for these items and you will have half your supplies before you know it.

I was invited by my blog buddies to whip up a craft for Halloween in less than 15 minutes. My answer was obviously yes to my clever crafty mates. Thank you for inviting me to Craft Lightning The Country Chic Cottage.net 30 Minute Crafts.com and +100 Directions.com
Now here is the thing. I am rather a Glenda the Good Witch kind of girl. I don't like haunted houses, prefer no masks, and please Lord do no touch me with a mask on. It will not be a pretty moment for either of us. Someone might even get hurt and it won't be me.
Thank goodness I love trick or treaters, handing out candy and carving pumpkins. Good old fashion apple cider, the colors of the fall and the pictures of children on a pile of pumpkins just seem to be the best photographs.
I tend to be a work smarter not harder girl making this challenge perfect for my brain. First up a creative way to use what you have and decorate quickly.
I bought this darling drawer on clearance for $5.00. I had the greens already in the drawer with a foam. This Decor was created for the Chicago Randolph Street Market Midwest DIY Bloggers Roundup (Click Link Here) I created and hosted in August. My dear friend Sally Schwartz owns the Market and graciously allowed us to meet at the RSM for two days.
